Srinagar, May 10: Authorities are very likely to suspend railway services in Kashmir Valley amid a surging number of covid-19 cases in JK.
Official sources privy to the development told that the announcement to suspend the services immediately will be announced in the next few hours.
The decision follows a huge rush of passengers at stations amid the continuing increase in the number of Covid cases.
On Saturday, JK reported 5190 cases, taking the total tally to 216932 while 54 people succumbed to the virus. (GNS)
