Two J&K girls secure top 2 positions in National Kala Utsav competition

Srinagar, Jan 09: Two girls from Jammu & Kashmir have bagged the top two positions in the National Level Kala Utsav 2022-23 competition organized by the National Council of Education, Research and Training (NCERT) which was held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha from January 3 to 5, 2023.
The Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India to promote arts in the field of education.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer, the first prize was bagged by Ritika Verma of Girls Higher Secondary School, Nud in Samba district, while Rabia Rasool from Girls Higher Secondary School, Kathi Maidan, Srinagar, won the second prize.
While Ritika won in the category of “Visual Art-3D”, Rabia topped in “Indigenous Toys and Games”.
Samagra Shiksha Jammu & Kashmir has congratulated all the national winner students and extended best wishes to all the participants.
