The issues related to drinking water and other basic facilties lagging are an important issues of serious concern for the people of South Kashmir, Take example of zagigam ( Shaltakya) many households there do not have the proper clean drinking water facilties. Besides many villages of South Kashmir still do not have quality roads and infrastructure. The electricity supply too needs to improve . We also need to upgrade the health infrastructure.
Your take on youth issues?
The youth empowerment is the need of the hour. It is a well known fact that the need to empower youth for a better tomorrow is connected both, to the financial upgradation as well giving our best of efforts to improve overall standard of living .Awareness is a very major thing needed for acheiving this empowerment, with guidance towards developing a wholesome outlook of life. Youth empowerment in any development is must needed not only for national development of an entire country but also for personal development of an human being.
When youth are empowered, they feel confident and capable. They become active contributors and collaborators, excited to explore their impact on the world around them.
The series of issues faced by the youth especially unemployment is a matter of major concern. We need to create ample job opportunities.
So how do you see unemployment issue can be solved ?
More focus on skilled education is the need of the hour to create more jobs. The traditional education cannot yield many jobs now.
It is heartening though that unemployment is reducing. We need to bear in mind that recently The unemployment rate in Jammu & Kashmir has declined over the past two years, minister of state for labour Rameshwar Teli told the Lok Sabha some days back.
“As per the latest available Annual Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) reports, the estimated Unemployment Rate on usual status in Jammu & Kashmir was 6.7% and 5.9% during 2019-20 and 2020-21, respectively, which shows that the unemployment rate in Jammu & Kashmir has declined,” Teli said in response to an unstarred question by National Conference MP Hasnain Masoodi.
We need to take more steps to ensure employment avenues for same. Technically sound education is answer to rising unemployment.
What would you suggest farmers?
Agriculture is the mainstay of Jammu and Kashmir economy , millions of people in the valley of Kashmir are dependent on Agriculture for their livelihood. Honeybee farming, Mushroom Farming has emerged as a new way out for educated unemployed youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Our farmers as well as youth should focus on mushroom and honeybee like things. These can ensure real youth empowerment.
We just should not concentrate on single thing.
What is your message?
My message to one and all is to follow the path of peace and humanity. Living with harmony and love is the way ahead . We all should also live for not just overselves but also society .
