Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hailed Karanataka and called it a beautiful blend of tradition and technology, culture and innovation.
Applauding brand Bengaluru, the PM called it the best natural hotspot in the world.
He further added that while the world is reeling with massive economic uncertainty but has full faith in the fundamentals of the Indian economy.
PM Modi said that his government made it easier for the countries to invest in India by offering attractive tax benefits and making legislatures lenient enough to avoid any silos or red taping. He also applauded the recently launched National Logistic Policy.

Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday told investors that the PM Gatishakti scheme is a well-structured policy lined up to make the process of building business in India easier.

Calling the investors to India, PM Modi said that investment in India does not mean just business but it contributes to the creation of inclusion of communities, better democracy and a healthier, safer planet.
The three-day Global Investors’ Meet was inaugurated virtually by the prime minister on Wednesday. Through this summit, the Karanataka government anticipates heavy investment in the state. The agenda for the summit is “Invest Karnataka 2022.” This is the first such large-scale summit after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hailing PM Modi’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat” and Make in India movement, CM Bommai said PM Modi is the leader who lead India to an economic victory.
The GIM branded as “Invest Karnataka” will assist in bringing at least Rs 5 lakh crore in investment, while also assisting in the creation of five lakh employment for the state’s citizens, said the government.
Apart from Prime Minister Modi, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and state cabinet members, Union Finance Nirmala Sitharaman, Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, and Coal and Mines Minister Pralhad Joshi also participated in the inauguration session.
The country sessions would each be hosted by the partner countries – France, Germany, Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, and Australia – which would be bringing in high-level ministerial and industrial delegations from their respective countries.
The 2022 Investors Meeting is expected to attract more than 5,000 participants and investors and at least 80 speakers will take part in the highly-trumpeted summit.
