BANDIPORA 2/NOVEMBER/2022:
People in Kathpora Village area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district has blamed nearby residents , shopkeepers for throwing garbage on river embankments thus making them polluted.
The locals said it used to be once a refreshing spot in their free time but the nearby locals, Residents throw their waste on embankments which not only attracts stray dogs but foul smell emanating from the garbage. They blamed the Municipal committe Hajin for failing to keep the village,Particularly these embankments neet and clean.
While talking to Media Person they said that they will run campaign on the Banks of River Jhelum so that the water of Jhelum can be kept clean and clear and also the river Jhelum can be made beautiful so that People who come here will be happy to see the beauty of Jhelum.
*He appealed the people not to throw the waste on embankments as we have recently installed twin dry and wet dustbins.
