Four members of a family, including two men and two women, died after a speeding car fell into an open well in Telangana’s Mahabubabad district on Friday night.
The tragic incident took place when the car fell into an open well in the Kesamudram Mandal Centre of the Mahabubabad district. The car overturned on the Kesamudram Bypass Road.
According to the police, seven people were travelling in the car. The driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol and while passing through the Kesamudram Bypass, he lost control, and the vehicle they were travelling in fell into an open well near the road.
The driver and the other two passengers sustained grave injuries and were shifted to the Mahabubabad Area Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Banoth Bhadrunayak, Banoth Achamma, Lalitha, and Suresh. All of them were shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
They were natives of Tekulapally in Bhadradri Kothagudem.
