Ensure adequate supply of essentials during winter in JK: LG Sinha to officials

Srinagar: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on Thursday directed the officials to make an adequate supply of essentials available during winter in the Union Territory.

LG Sinha asked the officials that people should not face any problems during the winter and this should be taken care of by everyone.

Sinha made the comments while chairing the district development review meeting in Pulwama district on Thursday. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of several infrastructure projects in the district.

He asked the officials that there should be adequate power and water supply during the winter and if there is snow on roads clearance should be done immediately.

He stressed to the officials that the people should not face any difficulty during the winter, in any case, be it power, water supply, and other essential services.

Sinha also asked the officials of the department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumers Affairs department to make adequate ration available for the people.
