Farooq Andrabi urges Admin to ensure adequate arrangements on Urs of Alamdar-e-Kashmi
Srinagar,,17-Oct: Apni Party’s Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi on Monday demanded the administration to ensure all necessary arrangements on the eve of the annual Urs of Sheikh-ul-Alam Sheikh Noor-ud-din Wali. The annual Urs days are commencing on October 21, 2022.
In a statement issued here to , Andrabi said, “I appeal to the administration and Waqf authorities to ensure adequate arrangements for the devotees, who throng in lakhs to pay obeisance at the revered shrine of Alamdar-e-Kashmir at Charar-e-Sharief in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on the eve of annual Urs.”
“The concerned departments should ensure uninterrupted water and electricity supply to the Charar-e-Sharief town and vicinity areas during the Urs days. Also, the authorities should ensure that the essentials are available in the area during the Urs days.” He added.
Farooq Andrabi also urged the local authorities to ensure that there is no profiteering or black marketing in Charar-e-Sharief and its vicinity during the Urs days”.
