*Budgam Police hold meeting with Retired police officers*
Srinagar.September,12:* In order to review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired police personnel, a meeting of the Police Retired Officers Association (Non-Gazetted) was held in DPL Budgam today. The meeting was chaired by *SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem Khan-JKPS* along with DySP Headquarters Budgam Shri Naem Wani-JKPS & DySP DAR DPL Budgam Shri Owaise Rashid-JKPS. Over 100 retired Police officers of the district participated in the meeting.
The participants were welcomed by SSP Budgam who assured them that police is always at their disposal and to address their grievances. He also stated that they are still part of Police organization and can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.
During the meeting, the retired officers raised various issues and also proposed some initiatives for the betterment of post service life. SSP Budgam assured them that their genuine issues and problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their early redressal. SSP Budgam told them that their suggestions are always welcome.
The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks and with the assurance that such meetings will be held on regular basis in future also to redress the grievances of the retirees.
