KOKERNAG (ANANTNAG) A cultural cum awareness program on *Drug Abuse in Kashmir* for local youth was organised by 19RR BN (SIKH LI) at Govt Model Higher Secy School Kokernag.
The event was conducted in collaboration with South Kashmir Art and Drama School, Anantnag. The students were made aware of impact of drug addiction through various performances such as Group song & dance, Skit and solo singing by students of South Kashmir Art and Drama School.
Prominent personalities of the area attended the event and expressed their gratitude for organizing this awareness drive.
Mr Anish Ul Islam, youth president J&K Apni Party, South Kashmir, Mr Prince Shiekh, Chairman Municipal Committee Kokernag, Mrs Parminder Kaur, Counsellor MCK and other dignitaries from civil administration witnessed the event.
A sincere attempt by INDIAN ARMY to reach out to the youth and make them aware of harmful effects of drug addiction.
