“BORDER SECURITY FORCE – INDIA’S FIRST LINE OF DEFENCE”
TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
FTR Kashmir,BSF On 1st September 2022 from 0900 to 1130 hrs. a program was organised by 14 Bn BSF, Sector Bandipur, on the occasion of “ Teacher’s day Week” at Higher Secondary School, Izmarg, Gurez Valley, Bandipora.
Shri Raja Babu Singh, IPS, IG, BSF Kashmir was the chief guest on the occasion. Sh Dharmendra Pareek, DIG, Sh R K Sharma, DIG, Sh Kaushlesh Rai, Commandant 14 Bn BSF with other officers, SOs and Jawan’s of the unit were also present.
Besides sarpanches/head master of local area, medical officer, teachers, students and large numbers of local villagers also participated in the program.
During the programme weapons were displayed, sports items and medicines were distributed and students were taught about Pre Hospital Treatment (PHT) training. A audio/visual regarding BSF’s role and recruitment process in BSF was showcased to the students/villagers. A cultural program was organized by the students.
Principal of the school Mr. Hayat Dar praised and appreciated the role of BSF in Gurez Valley.
Sh Raja Babu Singh, IPS IG, FTR HQ Kashmir spoke about the cordial relations between border population and BSF and distributed prizes to meritorious students and teachers.
