I am resigning today from the core membership of Congress Party today. I have been youth president. I have also been a member of PCC core committee. Presently I am also the Chairman of the Block Development Council Shangu Block. Most of the panchayat members are with me who were also members of the Congress party. We have taken decision today to strengthen the newly formed political party of Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahib. The new party will be a democratic political party with democratic style of functioning not only in Jammu and Kashmir but at the national level.
Azad Sahib is national icon for Muslims as he has represented Muslims in every appropriate forms.
