Career Counseling Session for local youth was organised by 19 RR BATTALION (SIKH LI) at GDC Kokernag.

The Career options available for students after graduation were highlighted by Major Aashish Dhonchak, 19 RR . In addition students were made aware of various types of entries in the INDIAN ARMY especially AGNIPATH SCHEME for both boys & girls including the qualification requirements, key areas for improvement, age criteria, preparation methodology and tentative schedule of advertisement & online registration.
A total of 55 Students both boys and girls from 2nd and 3rd year of degree courses attended the session and expressed their gratitude for making them aware.
The queries and doubts of students were also answered.
A sincere attempt by 19 RR to reach out to the youth and motivating them to join Armed Forces and also to explore the available opportunities in the environment. The session was attended by Mr Malik, Principal, GDC KOKERNAG and other senior Professors of the Government degree college.
